Lately...

Jason decided that it was time to take the bumpers off Emery's bed. This has been an interesting adventure for us. We lose the pacifer every night. We hear bunks all the time when Emerson is trying to fall asleep because he moves around his crib so much and bangs his head. And then there are times like in this picture that we find him stuck between the slats. When he gets stuck he never cries. He just sits there until we come and find him that way. We have been feeding Emerson some veggies and fruits the past week. This has been fun, but frustrating at the same time. He is such a good eater...pickiness wise...and he really wants to eat. But he CAN NOT keep it in his mouth. This drives me crazy!!! I used to baby sit a little girl that was perfectly clean when she ate from day 1. Now I have a mess! I always wait to feed him until I am ready to give him a bath. I also usually have to have Jason come and hold his arms down so he doesn't get his hands all through it.

Of the puréed foods, we have fed him peas, carrot, and pruns. We think that he has liked carrots the most.
Today I went to my ward play group...where no one showed up except one other girl that was leaving when I got there. So, I decided to take some pictures of Emerson swinging. He loved the swing. He is still so little for it. But he just sits forward and swings away.

Ok. I have to say that the picture of his dirty face is the cutest ever! I love it. Messy babies are so cute!

Also, put that bumper back on! We still have Kenzie's on her bed. We are just to lazy to take it off. But, just put it on for another month and see how he does. You dont want his leg to get stuck!!!

I have to agree-- my favorite picture is after he's done eating the carrots. Too Cute!

Jess.....he is a boy, let him make all the mess he wants! and its good that he likes to eat, if you try and hold his hands and change his eating style right now, it might put him off foods as well, because he will not enjoy it as much....just relax and think....he is eating!!!! the table manners will come with age darling!

What a good sport. Getting stuck in the bars on the crib and not even making a peep? That picture is so cute. Seriously, that Emery is a doll!
