May 4th and 5th

May 4th:

This weekend Emily was at our house while Lyle was visiting his brothers. Since she was here, we decided to take advantage of having a photographer instead of a tripod and a running photographer hoping to get in the picture (like most of our together pictures). So here are two of our family pictures that I loved: Which one do you like more?

We played around with Emerson too. This was his first time really going outside for a longer period of time then going from a building to the car. I think that he liked it. Though afterwards he slept for a long time.
These are the picture that I got for the day. I love how they turned out.
May 5:

Today we aren't really doing anything, so I don't have much to take a picture of. So, here is Emerson in the bath. Today he learned about splashing his legs. He made such a mess because he wouldn't stop kicking his legs once he started. It was really cute, but I think that I am going to start to put a lot less water in hopes of a little less mess.

I love the second bath picture where you can see the water splashing, but Emerson looks so chill like nothing overly exciting it going on. He is so cute! I can't decide on the family picture... I like the first one more, but I like Emerson more in the second.
