New Lens!

This weekend, I went to an Estate Sale that my friends were in charge of. They offered some of their friends a chance at a presale, but I didn't take advantage of it. I went to the sale for one thing specifically. The Canon 100mm macro lens. I just had to have it. There was a chance that it was already gone, but I just had to go see. When I got there I search for and just couldn't find it anywhere. I asked about it and someone told me that some guy was looking at the lenses and he must have bought it. I was so sad.

The next day, I got a call from my friend telling me that they had found it!!!! I immediately went and bought it.
Here are some of the pictures that I have taken with it in my first time playing with it. I did these all indoor, so they are pretty close up because it is such a narrow lens. But I still love them.
(He still had to get the cheeser in at some point.)

I just LOVE my new lens! And the model isn't too bad himself.

I love your subject also. You Bush girls are incredible photographers. I love your lens also. But most of all, I love you!

sweet.
I bought a Dslr right before Christmas. I love it, but I'm still a little scared of "going manual". Do you have any books or blogs that you love? I'd love to get some of your advise.

Yay! I am so glad you got the lens. It is awesome! Emerson is such a cute boy. I laughed when I saw the picture of him squinting. So cute. We need to skype sometime soon. I know my kids would love to talk to him.
