Giveaway

I thought of something, so I am finally doing this..... Sounds like fun!! Sign up! The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me, Jessica. My choice. For you.

This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:

1-I make no guarantees that you will like what I make.(but there's a pretty good chance you might!)
2- What I create will be just for you.
3-It'll be done by April 19th.
4-You have no clue what it's going to be. It may be a story. It may be poetry or an article on properly cleaning your face before a masque. I may scrapbook something. I may bake you something and mail it to you. Who knows? Not you, that's for sure!

The catch? Oh, the catch is that you must repost this on your blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same on your blog. The first 5 people to do so and leave a comment telling me they did it will then win a fabulous homemade gift made by me! Oh, and be sure to post a picture of what you win when you get it! Have fun playing!

Emerson's Birthday

We celebrated Emerson's birthday on Monday. It was such a fun day. When we woke up we had waffles and ice cream. Emerson thought that was so good. It was so fun watching him eat ice cream for the first time.
Then, we played for a while until Emerson got sleepy and took a nap. During his nap we set up for his birthday party. Then he woke up and we went out and took pictures. He was being so cute.

After getting pictures, we put up the finally birthday decorations and waited for Emerson's friends to come over.
He loved playing with the balloons.

Here is the cake that he ate later in the evening.

He had a lot of presents. He is one spoiled boy.
Here is the cake for the adults. It was GOOD!!!
The guest arrived. The kids played while the adults talked. It was fun having some friends over to celebrate with him. I wish that our place was bigger so we could have had more people over. But it was still fun with who we had.
Emerson got his own cake to himself. He loved eating it. By the end he was a mess and ReALLY full. (He did end up throwing most of it up during the night. Jason walked into his bedroom in the morning and said that it was the first time that throw up made him want to eat birthday cake.)

After we gave Emerson a bath and the guest had gone, he opened up all the present from us and relatives. He really had fun doing that. I was nervous that I was going to open them all like I did at Christmas, but he did a really good job of opening all of his presents. He got some fun new toys and a Vinyl wall Alphabet to put into his room.
Emerson had a great birthday. We love you Emerson and can't wait to see you grow this next year!

Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day!
This was the best Valentine's Day that I have had since Jason and I have been together...I think that one reason being that it is the first one that we have been able to spend more than 5 minutes together. On Friday, Jason brought me home flowers and some heart gummies that I love. Then on Valentine's Day, he woke up with Emerson and played with him while I slept in. Then I woke up and made my guys some pink pancakes. I don't know why but if something is pink then I think they taste fruity. They were yum! These were Emerson's first pancakes and he loved them.
Then we spend the day pretty low key hanging out around the house. In the afternoon, we went shopping for last minute things for Emerson's birthday. Then we went out to dinner at Red Robin. That was good. Emerson got a hamburger from the Birthday club. He loved that.

When we got home, Jason had made me homemade pudding (from scratch) and strawberries. It was SO good. It was the best Valentine's Day yet. I just loved spending it with my two guys.

On Sunday, we dressed Emerson up in his Valentine's outfit. I think that it is my favorite church outfit to date.

Layout of the Week

I really enjoy digital scrapbooking. But ever since Emerson was born, I just haven't had much time to do it. Then one of the websites (www.JenWilsonDesigns.com) that I really like going to started a Project 52 chellenge. Project 52 is similar to Project 365. However, it is make one layout a week all year. I have been playing along with it. It has been fun to do the challenges that they give each week. Last week's challenge was to do a timeline of some sort. SO, needless to say I did it about Emerson's first year. I LOVED how it turned out. Then, today I went to the site's blog and saw that it was chosen for the Layout of the Week. I was so excited. I love when something I love is loved by others.

But I do have a great subject to scrap about. Who could resist loving these pictures of my little man!
