Just wanted to hurry and drop in for a second. This is us waiting for the fireworks last Wednesday. Pretty much that is the most exciting thing we have done lately. Jason is leaving on Saturday to Taiwan and Japan for 2 weeks. He is going for work. Life is good right now.

The past few weeks...

Sorry that is has been so long since my last update...(Em, Nat, Am, and Liv) . I have had a pretty busy last few weeks. Three weekends ago, Jason got back from a week in Finland. He really liked Finland...but the pictures from that trip will be delayed because he forget to take the digital camera, so he bought a desposable one in Finland and didn't use up all the pictures...but he will finish using them later this month or early next month when he goes to Taiwan. It is looking like he is going to be there for the 4th of July. I am not happy about that...but I guess whatever it takes to be able to make a good living.

About 5 hours after Jason got home from Finland, his parents came into town. They were only here for a couple of days, but we had a lot of fun. Most of the time we just sat around and talked, but we did do a little tourist stuff for them on Memorial Day. So we decided to take them to the Japanese Gardens and the Rose Test Gardens. I think that they really enjoyed it. Here are some pictures from the Japanese Gardens...which Dad, Mom, Amy, and Olivia--I am going to take you there when you come out...it is so beautiful!

The day after Bruce and Sue left, I started babysitting my 2nd baby. This one is a little 3 month old boy named Tate. He is a lot harder to take care of then Brooklyn. He cries a lot which make it hard to deal with. But we can only hope that it might get better as he gets a little older and more used to the bottles. Here is a picture of the babies...

Look how cute they are dressed...they always have the cutest oufits on.

Last week was the Rose Festival here in Portland. Last year, we didn't end up going to it at all, but this year it seemed like we spend all day every day there. Jason was marching in the "One More Time Around Again" Marching Band. It is a HUGE band of people that marched in High School or College. They range from age 18 to 90. It was really fun hearing them. I went to 2 parades and a concert. The second parade was MISERABLE. It was really long and then it was pouring the whole time. I was freezing by time Igot home. I took a half an hour shower and still wasn't thawed out. But here ar some pictures of Jason marching...

I also went to a Quilt Show one of the days. I hope that one day I can be as good as some of these ladies. Here are some of my FAVORITE quilts that they had there.

Finally...

So I have been trying to get any sort of inspiration for scrapbooking lately. I feel like every think that I do turns out bad, so I just delete it. But tonight I decided to try to do a page and I think that it actually turned out well enough for me to put it out for others to see. So here it is:

Isn't it fun? Last summer, Jason and I went into Hillsboro--the town next to Beaverton--and helped set a world record. It was a lot of fun...and hopefully my picture will be in the next Guinness Book of World Records--though you probably won't be able to spot me in the crowd :)

Jason left for Finland today. It is going to be a long week without him, but when he gets back his parents are going to come and visit. I am excited to see them. I don't know what we are going to do, but we are going to have fun.

This weekend...

This weekend started our awesome! Jason and I have been toying around witht the idea of getting a new TV for our bedroom...if you know Jason "toying around" means ALOT of research. Well, we finally found a TV that we liked, so we went to get it at Best Buy but the store next to us didn't have it, so we went 20 minutes away to get it from an in store pick up that we did over the internet. However, we found out that the web site is about 2 hours behind the store and the store that we went to sold the ones that they had earlier in the day. So we decided that we really wanted it still that day...so Jason could enjoy it before he left for Finland...so we went to yet another store another 20 minutes away. And they had it!!! So we are proud owners of a new LCD TV. We are so excited! It is such a nice big picture...for us anyway.

We also decided that we wanted to buy a PS2 now that they are a little less desired...now that the PS3 is out. So we hopped on ebay this weekend and bid on one. So we are also owners of a PS2! We are going to be experts at guitar hero by time we go home next time.

In the beginning of this post, I said that this weekend started off good. On our way home from getting the TV, I started to feel a littl car sick and food sounded disgusting...low and behold...it wasn't car sickness. I have been so sick this weekend. This is the first time that I have even been able to sit up from more than 20 minutes and ot wollowing in pain. I am hoping that that means that what ever it is is done.

Jason is going to be going to Finland this Friday and is going to be there for a week. For a job that has very little travel he has sure done a lot the past couple of months. But we determined that it is going to be a good thing that he is gone that week because it is the week that I get to finally officially start Clomede (the fertility drug) and everyone has told me that you are extremely moody on it and they suggested that I stayed in a hotel or something away from Jason the first couple of days. So instead, Jason is going to leave. So it works out well.

Happy Anniversary!

Tomorrow is our two year anniversary. I can't believe that it has been that long since we got married. It is starting to look like it will be a tradition going to wedding for our anniversary. Last year we went to Jason's sister's wedding and this year we are going to my friend Curtis Campbell's wedding reception. I think that it is an appropriate anniversary celebration...don't you?

After the wedding we are heading over to the beach and spending our anniversary there.

Make-A-Wish "Cards for Shane"

I thought that everyone that reads my blog is capable of helping out this this. I am sending a few...I hope that you all can too.

This is what a Canadian station had to say:

"Recently, one of our retailers contacted us about 7-year-old Shane. Shane has been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, and is currently at the Children's Hospital in Ontario, where he'll undergo chemotherapy until June. When the Make-A-Wish Foundation asked Shane what his special wish would be, he wished to be in the Guiness World Book of Records for getting the most birthday cards. He'll turn 8 years old on May 30th, and needs to get over 1 million cards!"

Want to help? Send a birthday card (or several) to Shane by May 30th at the address below. Any number of cards helps, and makes him that much closer to reaching his goal!

10 things that make me happy today...

1. I went to the fertility doctor yesterday and found out that I get to start on fertility drugs at the end of the month! I cannot wait to see if they work! Hopefully there will be a baby Bills in the not to near futere :)

2. I have recently been introduced to a scrapbooking/stamping company called Close to my Heart (CTMH). I am absolutely in love with their stuff. Today I bought a lot of their products--a lot! I actually had a party on Wednesday with their products, so I got a bunch of free product too...what can be better than free product.

3. Today is my first day off from babysitting Brooklyn. She is such a doll. I love babysitting her. It is fun having a baby around, but that I can send home at the end of the day.

4. I went to JoAnn and started to look for fabric for my curtains--for my front room. I have decided on a paisley fabric that is in bright greens, reds, blues. It is so pretty. As soon as I buy and make the curtains, I will post it up here.

5. We FINALLY got around to buying blinds! We got them from SelectBlinds.com. I am so excited to be able to not have light blaring in my eyes when I wake up.

6. Jason got me all the Sims expansion packs for Christmas this year, so I have finally got around to putting them on the computer and playing. I have so much fun playing this game--especially now that I have found cheat codes :)

7. I was asked to walk a dog for a lady that I visit teach. I cannot stand dogs...and this has reminded me of it even more. They stink, they are loud, and they are ugly. So today I am now even more happy that I am dogless!

8. I love TiVo. Today I was able to sit and watch a ton of my shows that I have been wanting to watch all week. I loved "The Office" from last night. It was so funny--as it is always! It is about time that there was a new one.

9. I have lived here now long enough to finally feel like I have some good friends. Yesterday, I went over to my friend Katie's house. She told me that she was getting Jessica deprieved because when Jason was in Japan, we saw each other everyday...mainly because she fed me every night and I babysat her baby on Wednesday mornings. I am happy that I have friends that miss when I am not around.

10. Today I am most happy because it is date night! It finally has warmed up this week, so I was thinking that we are going to do something outside...maybe a picnic and some boche ball?

That is all for today! I want to know all my sisters top ten things that are making them happy today.
